Oh, I'm so glad you brought up the importance of coziness. Even though this is a really cozy season in itself, coziness is really something that needs to be cultivated and nurtured, just as anything else in life. And thank you for your "cozy tips" ✨💚

Hiii! Aww thank you so so much for your wonderful words, Julia! 🤗 And you're so right, we do have to nurture what we desire in life. It's so easy to lose track on what matters when you begin to cruise on automatic pilot, haha. ❤✨

Layers and coziness is so nice, and my most favorite seasons are where this is necessary, and most welcomed. I'm still waiting on our first big snowfall, but right now gentle flakes are falling in a calm and lilting manner outside and it's bringing me so much peace.

Hi Kate! Thank you so much for twirling by! I hope the gentle snowflakes stick around and that a white Christmas will happen for you this year! I've no idea what Winter will do here as the smidge of ice and slushy snow only appeared once in November, haha. But the weather is different this year, much more like the beginning of Winter instead of the in between weather we've had for the last several years. Feelings of peace wrapped in layers of cozy = perfection 🥰❤❄

Eeeeek I love the cozy witch lady 🥹🎃🧙‍♀️✨☕️🍄‍🟫 I'm here for the cozy vibes. This is my favourite time of year because I can layer up and drink hot beverages without overheating hehe. There's something about the smell of the crisp air and the way it tickles my nose hairs that makes me feel so cozy and warm (even though that feels a bit counterintuitive lol).

Thank YOU!! 🤗🥰 Ohh drinking hot beverages without overheating is indeed most excellent, haha! I'm one that still wants comfy food, like soups and stews during summer, so I understand it completely! And yesss to crisp air!! I love it so much as well and it's one of my fave things to wear a big knitted scarf and step outside and get that hit of cool air in my face. I always snuggle more into my coat and scarf before dashing into an adventure aka getting groceries. So I can totally envision you sitting all bundled up, sniffing the crisp air and then snuggle even deeper into the blankets, haha! 💜🍵🌬✨

Ahhh I love this visual of you on your adventure to get groceries all bundled up. I've actually been planning to make my grandma's stew recipe for some extra comfort in the coming days. I loooooove earthy, hearty foods.

Cozy as a way to slow down it's very interesting! I like people-watching ( I call it playing live sims, because I make up entire lives for them from a glance) and staring into the sky too, but I am not sure if "cozy" is how I want to feel all the time. Isn't that odd? To me, cozy is wrapping myself like a burrito on the couch after dinner, and I appreciate that because it's so time-specific, like a treat! I can't be cozy in the morning, I wonder what would happen?! Also, wearing a blanket like a cape and letting your inner Snape out is fabulous! It makes me wonder, have you ever done more 'spooky' art? Dark Academia but potions in the dungeons, kind of thing?

Heeeey Barbs!! Hope you're well, lovely! As I was writing this post I kept thinking how cozy is just my current favorite word as I can easily give this list when I'll ramble how I allow pockets of wonder, calm, peace etc. in my world. 😅 It truly is how one defines a word for themselves in the end, because I too don't want to feel cozy like all the time, haha. Wrapping oneself like a burrito and then eating a burrito sounds like something I'd want to try one day, hehe. Walking around the house with a billowing blanket is honestly pure magic! I can't do his voice, I'd have to ask my brother, but I do stare intensely out of the window or into the distance whilst brewing my coffee.

Ahh alas! Spooky art isn't my forte, but I have designs with tiny skulls, potion bottles, cauldrons because they are some of my favorite things to draw, haha. Even designs that are somewhat "spooky" are more melancholic, I think. I wanted to share a little gallery with inky art for Halloween, as I painted Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, Coraline, The Sanderson Sisters, Cheshire Cat several years ago, but time got away from me and then I felt I couldn't post it anymore 🙈
