Hello lovelies!
The last few days I have been sifting through many thoughts on what I want to focus on next. I took out three boxes filled with my bookmark stock, knowing the time to release them in the world again is getting closer. My site is not ready yet, but a framework will be worked on this week.
I wrote this piece when the world was at a standstill, back in december 2020. Now, almost four years, the words still hold so much truth, only for different reasons.
My bookmarks hold a lot of memories of my creative journey and while I do feel so much better about where I am now, nurturing the seeds that are sprouting in a home that reflects so much of my old life back to me, can get challenging at times. I have days where the desire to be in the future right now feels all consuming and days where I wish I was braver in the past.
But alongside the memories of having tiny breakdowns, gazillion trials and erros, confusion and sadness, there are also memories of being braver, collecting courage and wonder and trusting oneself again. These have been born right in the same space as well.
So my lovelies, wherever you find yourself on your journey, I hope these words can find a place in your world. I hope they will help you to continue to nurture and embrace your beautiful self, right where you are.
Sending you so much love!
TJ xx
Hello, lovely reader! I’m TJ, an artist and storyteller and on here, you will find gentle reflections & musings on life, self love, healing and the magic of mundane wonders. Aka the stories that I collected as I pivoted my life around by choosing to follow my creative dreams. Make yourself cozy, have a read and I hope you the words will bring a dash of wonder and magic into your day.
Note to self:
It’s okay to not feel okay. Just like flowers, bloom where you currently find yourself planted. Bloom for yourself and let your inner light illuminate the world around you.

Always remember that you carry all the magic inside of you to bloom into a wondrous human being.
In order to bloom, you often have to go through a phase of healing and growth, but healing doesn’t mean that you have to isolate yourself completely. You can heal right alongside living life.
It’s more about giving yourself the space to understand the road you’ve traveled so far, to recognize your fears, pain and hurt. It’s about forgiving your past self, comforting your inner child and realizing that you’re deserving of all the good you want to have. Your dreams have always been valid and your past isn’t dictating how you should live your life. Celebrate your victories, your strengths and your resilience to have always put one foot in front of the other, no matter the circumstances.
To heal is to acknowledge all your feelings. Yes, it can get very messy, confusing and some days you feel on top of the world and other days the emotions surround you like a dark cloud.
Breathe in deeply and remember that not feeling okay is just a chapter in your life, it’s not your entire story. Be gentle with yourself as you nurture your heart and know that you will be okay. Whatever you have to face in your life, you’re able to move through it. It will add to your growth and you will come out the other side stronger, wiser and with that much more compassion for yourself and the world around you.💕

Love this line, TJ: "You can heal right alongside living life." Yes! Sending blessings for steadiness and ease, from my heart to yours. ❤
Love this message! I definitely feel like I’m in a phase of healing and growth, and sometimes it feels like my progress isn’t as far along as I’d like it to be, so your words are encouraging. Thanks!
