Very deep! I like this way of interpreting growth. But I can't help wondering, what's happening in your life to prompt these thoughts?

*waves* Greetingsss! Thank you so much for reading, Barbs 🤍 Short answer? My last burnout was also a season where a lot of the healing I did in the years before got integrated. So these thoughts have been swirling around a lot as I embrace this new season, because I know I'm not the same person anymore. Longer answer is linked to how choosing my creativity 10+ years ago, kickstarted a journey back to self again. Before I did this, I didn't live life for myself and being the oldest in the family also brought it's own challenges and responsibilities.

But! I've always been a very deep thinker and it's not strange for me to stare into the distance, lost in thought, contemplating either life or what I want to bake next. 😊

I'm so happy for your healing journey. It must not have been easy to reconcile family roles and responsibilities with your own life and freedom. Cheers to new seasons 🥂

My sweet friend with words of wisdom and always right on time. 🥰 As usual, I relate to your writing so much. I am at a stage in my life where I’m saying farewell to what was and hello to the new magic that’s about to begin. It was unexpected, but I am so thrilled for a new path and a new journey.

P.S. I miss you. 🧡

Ohh hiii! It's such a lovely surprise to see you, my lovely friend! 🥰 I'm so glad the words resonated with you and I am so curious to the new magic that is beginning for you now. I've no idea what to think, but I'm already happy and excited for you. 🤗 I don't think I've seen a post from you yet, right? I returned to Substack last week, but haven't properly stared at other writings yet as I had to focus on my own words first.

Ps. I miss you tooooo! ✨💜

No, I haven’t posted anything in such a long while. Working really takes up so much of my creative time. I’m going to try to squeeze some writing time in though because I do really miss sharing stories and chatting with everyone here. It’s so good to see you back on Substack! 🧡🧡🧡

Ahh so we both vanished from Substack for such a long time! I can only imagine how much time and energy works demands of you, but I'm happy to hear that you will begin to create pockets of time for your wonderful writing. ✨ Thank you so so much, it's good to share here again and to not overcomplicate my posts and what I do at the moment, haha. Looking forward to ramble more often to you again! 🤗💜🍵

So nice to read you again! Such a timely piece too - burnout and how we come back to ourselves is such an interesting - and important - topic and you hit the nail on the head so many times here. I find it really comforting that there can always be a new season.
